Well back to work tomorrow, I didnt create near as much as I wanted to. I dont know why that always seems to happen. I did a alot of relaxing and doing nothing. Oh I did learn how to organize my pictures on my computer. I created folders for scallop cards, cuttlebug cards, cards with tags, card sketches, LO sketches, circle cards, blog banners, photo class etc. Its a little addicting, I not finished yet, but its so easy to browse through my photos when I need to post or print. SO COOL, isnt it funny the little things that can excite a person:)

A little something for today

Heres a card I made for my standing stamp of the month swap. As you can tell its a masculine stamp set and its geared for Fathers day. Colors are pretty guyish too!

I planted some flowers in my pots on the porch boy what a difference it makes. My hubby has complained each spring summer about how bare the flower bed and porch looks.Reminging me I always had the best yard on the block, I did have beautiful flowers bloom each spring. The anty has been amped this season and Kam has mentioned several times the bareness and pointed out that it was officially spring and I could start planting. Mind you he has no intention of helping, none of them do. Thats okay I enjoy it wether there helping or not. Today I tackle my huge flower bed and I will plant my favorite African daisies!!

Cupcakes galore & BLOG CANDY ALERT

Look what I found at Michaels in the DOLLAR bin, can you believe it? Are these just too cute or what? A dollar, lots of cupcake theme items in the dollar bin, journals, paper plates, napkins, ribbon, note pads, stuffed cupcakes, even lipgloss in a cupcake container! Get over there quick, Im such a sucker for cupcakes!!!! I bought 14 of the 16 stamps they had.

Every sunday after church I stop at Michaels which I have to pass to get home (its just across the street from my house) LOVE THAT and today was a great day to stop. They had stuffed all the dollar bins with fresh new stuff, Love the spring themes (especially the cupcakes) I love the dollar bins, I can always shop the bins and feel like I have been on a real shopping spree. Today I loaded up on lots of pretty rhinestones, my cupcake stamps, some really cute small carved orange frames,small photo book to alter, some blending stumps (learned something new to do with them) anywhoo, I had a coupon for 25% off and it took 25% off every item. That means every $1 item was 75 cents, how cool is that!!!

Hello Spring

This past week the weather has been phenomenal, we were in the high 70s. GORGEOUS and the days are longer, this is my kinda of season! Next week is spring break and I will communing with nature while I plant in the front and back yards. I hope everyone else is feeling some spring weather. I went to the nursery and shopped for flowers, while I was there I took several pictures for my photo class. Heres one of my shots. I love that this class it requires me to shoot all the time!



I missed out on 2 weeks of great color challeges, but plan on creating something with them and posting next week.

Happy Spring

Happy Anniversary to us

18 blessed years together. I knew when I was 14 years old that I would marry this man and I did. Hes my best friend, hes a good provider, makes me laugh, he tells me Im beautiful all the time and I LOVE HIM!!!

 

Im way behind on these challenges but this card has been ready for 2 weeks, Im not sure if I like it or not. But here it is.

 

 

I hate when this happens

I never intend to get to busy to create or post. Stamping and scrapbooking is such a positive and fullfilling outlet, BUT there are always those bumps when I dont do either or I just create and dont post. Some times what holds me up is I think to much into my projects when Iam creating and I have to walk away or start something else before finishing up. Other times I am just to busy. I dont know how those daily blogger do it, I think they should share some tips :)I actually have missed checking in here. I did have a fabulous weekend in Las Vegas with my family last weeken. My sisters family and my aunts family joined us.

Hows your day?

Hello there!

The weather here has kinda nice, you can actually go out without a jacket, there is sun and no wind. But they say it wont be that way tomorrow. But I am enjoying it while its here. Hope your weather is nice too, I think were all tired of the cold and rain. I cant wait for spring. Can you believe daylight savings time changes next weekend. Were is this year going?

I made this adorable card for a friends baby shower yesterday. This is my all time favorite baby image, its by Stampendous. Isnt it too cute?!! And what about the paper, Michaels is finally bringing in new papers, this one is by Heidi Grace for Fiskars. They also have awesome papers by Scenic Route and Cloud Nine, Iam going back today to return something and cant wait to see what else they put out as the clerk was just getting started on setting the papers out.





I finally jazzed up the inside. I never thought I would do this myslef, I have seen many cards jazzed up this way but it sure does alot for the card.

How about that sewing? Its so fun and I tried a new stitch Iam so loving it, such a amazing element to the cards!

Off to the store I have a yummy dinner planned!
