For my card I wanted a vintage look, so I used a stamp set that had this vintage looking tree, I aged the edges of the papers, added glitter and bling to the tree to make it look like those old vintage tinsel trees (remember those) and the tag just added to the theme!! I added lots of layers and I popped my tree piece because I LUV to pop things off my cards!

Whos not happy that today is today?

Okay heres card #3, another favorite and if you read my blog you know why and if your just stumbling upon my spot Im still going to share. I LOVE tall cards! How about those glittery brads so COOL, those can be found in the CTMH catalog. Did you notice the scallop border stamp, that comes from a oober cute set called boutique borders it has tons of borders in it. That fun paper is from our Jingle paper pack, stinkin cute HUH?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS. Heres card #2 using the September stamp of the month, I showed you this card before but this time it has a christmas theme. I thought of doing another one and adding some chunky glitter to some of the berries for frosty look, wouldnt that look awesome.

a little taste of christmas

Last week was one busy week, my list of must get done now's are down to just 1 must get done. WWHHEEEE....

I had my Christmas in September workshop on saturday and it was a good turn out. We created six cards, heres the first one. Wishing everyone a awesome and amazing week!

Life is Sweet

I hope every one feels this way about their life. I know people are going through so many different things, but I hope they can see the many things right in front of them that they are blessed with. I do feel MY LIFE is SWEET, so so thankful. The road is not always easy but things pass and I have learned to be patient and have FAITH and HOPE.

And life is always SWEET when you can indulge in a sweet treat like a cupcake. I found this adorable cupcake set at Michaels there called {Foot-Longs} by Hampton Arts. No name though for this specific set.But its oober cute!!!

Until Friday

scrapbook kits, sewing and lots of icing OH MY!!

We had a incredible fall day, could have comfortably worn a light jacket. Just a welcoming change, we have been roasting in the hundreds for weeks. Tomorrow its back to the high 90's. I signed up for The Girls Loft kit of the month back in July, hoping to jump start my scrapbooking. Its so much fun to get that package and not know what to expect, let me tell you the kits are amazing, such great stuff inside. Have I a started to scrap yet? NO, but I have been printing pictures and preparing to get my tush in gear =0) I have a bad habit of not printing anything. Stayed tuned for that!



Look I sewed with brown thread and I am so luving it!I tell you this sewing on paper crafts is AWESOME, it makes such a impact on your cards ( as I have not sewn on anything else YET) but I cant image any other projects not looking AMAZING as well!!
