I can see cleary now

I wish I could sing this because the rain has cleared up, BUT no its been raining since Friday and will rain through Wednesday. I am singing this song because my card is CLEAR and we all can see clearly through it!

Today I share my Humbled Artist contribution. I created the guidlines for this challenge month and boy did it have me stumped. For weeks I had my supplies layed out on my desk, but I was on total creative block. I would lay it out and layer and move this and move that and pull this stamp set out and then put it back and pull out another, then push it all aside and do other things. So frustrating. The guidlines were...

Use designer brads
Bling
Glitter
Clear card base
A background stamp and
Dimensional elements

Make sure you visit Wizards Hangout to see ALL the FABULOUS clear cards created for this swap. You wont be disappointed!!!

Stampers meet my card....

I would like to say that when working with clear cards 2 sided tape works best, because if you have to reposition your paper the 2 sided tape is easier to play around with, it wont desimate your papers. Remember CTMH sells fabulous precut clear cards!!! Clear cards are so much fun, I challenge you to create a few!!

All products used are by Close to my Heart!! except the disco glitter.

Remember the true reason the birth of Jesus!! Boy what a gift!! Where did all the major gift giving come into play? HHMM. Enjoy the warmth, love and togetherness of family and friends this holiday season!!

Post a link to your card by Sunday @10 PM for your chance to be a chosen Friday Favorite!!

Meet my card....

I used my favorite Evergreen stamp set! I used 1 tree that I inked with a Martha Stewart glue pad, I stamped it 3 times on a piece of white daisy cs and sprinkled it with prisma glitter, on a seperate piece of white daisy I stamped 2 more trees and cut them out, I popped them off the white daisy piece in between the other 3 trees. I stamped Winter Wonderland in Ponderosa ink on a strip of white daisy and created a banner. I lined the top and bottom of the banner with prisma glitter. I added a strip of white daisy cut with a apron scallop border.I finished off the card with a Green grograin ribbon.

A gift for you!

Its Monday and that means its Heart 2 Heart challenge day. The challenge this week is to create a gift item. I know its the season for giving Christmas gifts, to co workers, neighbors, the post man, your hair stylist etc. But my gifty item is for those December babies, ME being one of them. My birthday is December 24!! I have a few rules about giving to December babies. RULE #1 we dont want to receive our gifts wrapped in Christmas paper!

So here is my gifty item for those December birthdays!!

Cute HUH! Its a bandaid tin that can hold a TON of gift cards. I wouldnt mind receiving this filled to capacity with gift cards!

Join us this week, its so much fun. Create your gift item and post a link to a picture of it to the Heart 2 Heart blog by this Sunday by 10 PM. Now scoot on over and check out the other FABULOUS WORKS OF ART!!
