When I say these designer papers called YOU ROCK are so so incredible in person its not saying enough. The colors are amazing and vibrant, I must order more. I stiched on the denim paper to give it the look of seams in denim jeans and I popped the many and the for all you do on the card using 3D dots.I embossed the Thanks and the brackets.

Happy Valentines Day

Hope you received something from your sweetie!!!! A card, a hug, a kiss, a rose or roses, dinner, lunch, a movie, maybe chocolates!! What ever it was, big or small I hope you were tickled pink with it.

I had dinner with the 3 men in my life at one of our favorite spots Island Burgers, YUM!!

Hello blogger friends!!!!

I am medicating myself for Sinusitis, never heard of it until I needed a day off of work and a trip to the docoter because I thought my head was going to split wide open. I have never had such horrible sinus pain, off and on for two weeks. Hoping to feel completely better REALLY soon.

I received a box of goodies from CTMH, need to get some cards made ASAP. Expecting my The Girls Loft kit tomorrow, its like opening a Christmas present, you dont know whats going to be in the kit, its loaded with super cute, fun stuff and I am never disappointed. This is a special monthly indulgence for myself, hey I diserve it!

Are you a candle burner? Well I am, I like my house to smell good all the time. One way I keep it fresh is candles, I burn alot of candles. So this means I acumulate alot of jars, now for a LONG time I would toss the jars, not giving any thought to keeping them. Then I read some where to keep them for all sorts of storage needs. Over the last year I deceided to save them and use them to store my craft stuff. I have 15 and 2 waiting to be cleaned out. Such a simple thing to do and double use of of 1 object. whatcha do is burn them down until the wick is gone and them pop them in the freezer for a day and them take a butter knife and either pop the wax out or cut the wax into a few pieces and dump the pieces. I then pop the jar in the microwave for 25 seconds and the label peels right off and any wax residue is soft enough to wipe off with a paper towel. Okay ladies start saving those jars!

I stiched around the card, edge the card and scallop with chocolate ink. Popped the scallop border off the card with 3D, added the bling and VOILA!!

Yummy colors on a cutesy card

Hello there! What do you think about 6 more weeks of winter? Thats what the ground hog says, I have never been fond of him. When I was little I remember anticipating what he would see, and being so bummed when he saw his shadow. I remember days of standing in front of the big picture window in our living room and longing for the sun to come out on those stormy, rainy days. Man the memory is so vivid. I am feeling like that now with our third storm in 3 weeks. Rain, rain go away, come again another day ( like next year). I know that 6 weeks will fly by but I am ready for some sunny skies and signs of spring.

Did you watch the super bowl, I did. I dont always watch and actually dont like football, BUT I can usually get into the super bowl and the NBA championship. Something about all the hype and excitment. So I was instantly pumped for the SAINTS, WHO DAT? see I told ya, instantly pumped. How cool to make it to the super bowl for the first time and then to win the title too!!! So I trekked to my sisters for fun, food and football and really enjoyed myself. Only 2 people were rooting for the Colts, so we wore them out with the chanting and all:)

ETA: I viewed the add we dedicated to our son in his senior yearbook, it looks REALLY good. I cant wait for him to see it. He doesnt know about it, its a surprise!!

This image reminds me of a image you would find in a little girls coloring book. I love coloring books, I had many when I was a little girl and could color for hours. To this day if I find a cute coloring book I will pick it up and I have a still have a love for a fresh box of Crayola crayons. AAHH can you smell them!


This card is so girly!! reminds me of jar of jaw breakers with all those yummy candy colors!


I stamped the cupcake into 3 parts and popped each part of my card, I added some bling to the frosted edges. Look at those yummy brads in the upper right corner, they look like candy! The sentiment was one full line that I cut into threes, actually the heart is from the cupcake, I like its puffy look more than the heart from the sentiment.

More sweet treats!!

So loving that its Friday and its raining. I am not a huge fan of the rain but I would take a rainy weekend rather than a rainy workday anytime. That means some really good sleep tonight and sleeping in tomorrow, YEAH!!

I plan on crafting this weekend and if the weather permits taking my son out drive me around town to pratice his drivin skills. I also feel like baking a cake. I forgot to share that a coworker has asked me to bake 2 cakes for his family over the next couple of weeks, yippy!!

The Sweetest Thing....

The title says it all, this months stamp of the month is the sweetest set ever!!! So whimsical and cute. I have a HUGE collection of birthday themed stamp sets, they are my favotite to collect so when this set arrived in my mailbox I was tickled pink. Pulled out my sewing machine, luv sewing on my cards and I love tags. This card was super fun to create, I made 12 for a swap. The card pattern was created using CTMH originals pattern book, a must have, the book should be worth a millin dollars. BUT its not, its only $21.95.
