June stamp of the month BLOG HOP

Welcome, welcome, welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring June's SOTM, which is Tender Tags, a set of 15 stamps. If you have come here from Anne's Blog, you are on the right path! If this is your first stop, you may want to go back to Jena's Blog and start from the beginning!
***
This month we have 42 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I used my cuttlebug for the background, I thought that was fitting, my flower is made out of crumbled Hollyhock cardstock. Can you see the glitter on the bigger brad and also on the swirl on the tag? How about the blig :) I used pop dots to lift up the scallop strip, I like the 3D effect. Loving the black, white and pink, so chic!

If you scroll down just below this post theres another card using this same set.

A little something for Saturday

Had the carpet cleaned today, I love having the carpet cleaned it looks brand new. But there is a down side to it, moving all moveable stuff. That would be laundry hampers, computer chairs, magazine baskets, trash cans, things that have accumulated on the sides of the beds ( books, magazines, shoes). The boys needed to clean anyways so there rooms were way over the top every corner had something in it. Its all clean now YEAHH!

Heres what I created for the standing Stamp of the Month swap I am in. This set Tender Tags will be released next month. I used the swirl from the set to stamp rows on my smallest piece of cardstock and also stamped the swirl on the big flower. Of coarse we all know I used the cuttlebug (thats a obvious one;)) Hope they like it.

Ribbon, Felt and Bling

I was the creator for this round of the Humbled Artist swap. The requirements for this swap are to create over the top, stand out from the rest phenomenol creations. The guidelines for this round are below.

1.Create a tall card 9 1/4 x 4
2.4-5 layers
3.Use buttons, may use ribbon, hemp or floss with ribbon
4.Must make something on your card 3D
5.Must have a tag on your card
6.Must sew or stitch on your card
7.Must use 3 ribbons
8.Have fun

I included all my favorite elements for this challenge, I have to say it really kicked my butt. I didnt get to use the set I wanted and had to rethink a new set and new paper colors and a new card pattern. I also had some sewing machine issues. BUT I finally finished and I LOVE IT.

For this card I used felt for the cupcake frosting, I stamped the cupcake on the back of the felt and cut it out. I stamped the cupcake liner on the back side of my B/T paper, I then flipped it over and used my stylus to emboss the lines. I used pop dots to pop the liner off the cardstock. The script for this card is stamped on acetate and of course there are some rhinestone bling for sprinkles on the frosting. Those are the details on this card, now take a peek:)

Happy Mothers day

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day and if your a mama HaPpY MoThErS DaY to you. I hope your being honored by your children and Hubby or significant other and they are letting you know how much they love and appreciate you. My hubby and I had this talk about the husbands role on mothers day. I know Iam not his mother but there is no Wife day so he gets to honor me along with the boys on mothers day.

Heres my card for Dawns Raspberry suite color challenge. Dawn picked dark grey as one of her colors, this is probably a color most of us ignore. Thanks Dawn for making me remember what a fabulous color grey is!

Color me Monday

The founder of Close to my Heart Jeanette is releasing weekly color challenges on her blog. Color me Monday challenges will as the title reads be posted on her blog every Monday. Look at these fabulous colors and image, they make me want to get away to a tropical spa resort:)

I punched the flowers and rubbed them with my large stylus to make them curl and crinkled them up a bit.

Tonight I am going to celebrate my nieces 17th birthday, were having fresh grilled chicken and steak tacos. There's a couple that brings there grill and all the fixings, chopped onion, cilantro, shells, limes and radishes. We usually have beans and rice YUMMY. I cant wait.

Sandcastles in the sand

This cute sandcastle is also from Unity Stamp Co. Can you tell I am ready for summer? Are you? I haven't stamped on cork in a LONG time and was recently inspired to use my cork by card I viewed. This card fits the bill. I am keeping this post short, too pooped to ramble tonight. The faster I get myself to sleep the faster Friday will come, night night.

A little sunshine for you

This is a simple card but full of sunshine, dontcha think? This is my favorite set from Unity Stamp co. Summer is my favorite season and the summer theme sets are my second style of stamps to collect after birthday sets.

I used some textured cardstock, love it! I stamped the sun once in black on my cardstock and then stamped it again on a seperate piece of cardstock coloring it with my Prisma colored pencils and shading it with baby oil (loving this technique) and then cut it out and popped it on the card base. Love the 3D look:)

Off to watch Quarantine with my family, enjoy.

DONT FORGET TO LEAVE A COMMENT AND POST THIS BLOG CANDY GIVE AWAY OF A CLOSE TO MY HEART SUMMER CATALOG ON YOUR BLOG.

Iam on a roll :)

There are two post today, scroll down for the second and dont forget the blog candy give away two post down.

I really like the colors on this card and I love this stamp set. You see I had my eye on this set from SU and I let it retire without purchasing it. A year or so later someone was selling it brand new and I bought it! This card was for Taylors cupcake challenge. So glad for these challenges they make me stamp:)

I colored the stamp image with my Prisma colored pencils and textured away with my cuttlebug.
