I worked my buns off

And finished 20 cards for a on going stamp of the month swap. Iam so proud of myself. They turned out great. I need to set more short term goals like this and get moving on some really good ideas I have.

Do you ever get the feeling that something great is waiting to get out?
I have a churning inside and Iam waiting on God to give me some guidence. I know he has great plans for me and I will take off on a awesome business adventure other than Close to my Heart.

PRETTY,PRETTY

More CHA goodies!

I want some of these!!

Adhere with Tombow-Multi, Xyron or Craft Glue.

Calling all ribbon LOVERS!!

CHA 2008
No I wasnt there, do I wish I was, HECK YEAH!!! I have a friend that was. Look at whats coming our way. Clip it up has designed a really neat ribbon holder check it out.

The black channel holds almost 3 feet of ribbon stacked spool to spool. The stainless steel rod holds snipets of ribbon in place as they spill over the edge of the channel.

The unit measures exactly 1 yard to ease crafters in cutting ribbons. Smaller markings making ribbon snipping for card-makers a snap. Notice the 2nd stainless steel bar across the bottom with ‘clip-it’ on rings. This allows you to pin up smaller, unspooled pieces of ribbon. Seeing the ribbon, lets you keep track of what you have available for use. You’ll also notice the scissor holder on the right and left sides. Wow, a place for ribbon-only scissor.

Whats in a name

What Jamia Means
You are fair, honest, and logical. You are a natural leader, and people respect you.
You never give up, and you will succeed... even if it takes you a hundred tries.
You are rational enough to see every part of a problem. You are great at giving other people advice.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated.
You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want.
You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way!

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.
Some of it is true and some not. Interesting.

Look at what I created today

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingI was on my photo bucket account and this cute figure was dancing on the side of the screen, so I checked it out. Its called avatar, you create a account and then you get to pick your face, hair, clothes, background and animation. This was fitting because I have a weekly 3pm hair appt. with my hairdresser my background is the beauty shop. My lady is primping. I felt like I was playing dolls again as a little girl. Pretty fun!!

PS you can post the pictures into emails etc.

A day with Junior

This is Junior ( Johnny Jr )

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with my 3 year old nephew. He is so CUTE and every bit the 3 yr old. We went to Chuck E. Cheese ( I hate chuck e. cheese) , he told me how to get there (turn left here Auntie) and then to Target, where he picked up the red customer courtesy phone because somebody needed help ( who I dont know) "Help somebody needs help", hilarious. He discovered how to open and close my sunroof and also discoverd my camera in my purse and took all the pics above, whadaya think!

Whats in a nickname?

Heres a page I created sometime ago, but its one of my favorite, I wanted to document all the nicknames I gave him . Has you can see there were many derived from Kamerom by the time he was 2.

All the alphabet are CTMH stamps. I love alphabet stamps, my collection is HUGE.

Look at whats coming to a store near you!

This was shown at CHA this past weekend....

The next cool adhesive was from the Glue Dots folks. The dots aren’t new, I use them ALL THE TIME. But, typically, I have 3 different sizes of those rolls with paper trailing everywhere or rolling across my desk or floor. The new dispenser lets you actually ‘run’ the glue dots in a strip or you can still adhere them one at a time. WOWZERS, what took them so long to design this tool. I cant wait to get one or two or three!
